Team ride and Training

The team ride we had didn't go so great. After learning that we had no sponsor, we suffered 4 punctures and nasty bouts of rain. We only did 2 hours riding in the end but it felt a lot longer. I got a lift with Pete who can now drive. Hopefully I will pass my test at the end of November so I can have some independence. The training is going ok. We went up a few days before for a half term break and got to see some of the peak district.  The day before I did a recce of the course. It was brutal! The road was so poorly engineered. It just went straight up. On race day I started off slow on my first split but picked up towards the end. I probably could have gone faster by shifting up a few gears at the finish and sprinting instead of sitting in the saddle. The two guernsey riders...
