The poor effort shown on this post perhaps reflects how badly the rest of the season has been going! After the camp was track nationals. I didn't qualify for the scratch, I did a terrible time in the pursuit, and got thrashed in the points. I thought that Tour of Wales would be a different matter but oh no, it was bad. My best placing was 6th on a stage and I ended up 12th overall. I did so much better last year! At least Italy went well, despite not having much to show from the race. I set my sights on the King of the mountains and came tantilizingly close but it was not to be. I was climbing good. Now I have to recover for a couple of kermesses in Belgium next weekend, and then a Stage race in Belgium the following weekend. At least my A-levels went well. I got 2 A's in maths and physics and 2 B's in history and Further maths.
